Ministry of Education	The Churches Education Commission is recognised by the Ministry of Education as the major provider of Christian Religious Education in New Zealand.

Schools Trustees Association	The New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA) is the national organisation which represents school boards of trustees views through the President and National Board, NZSTA, National Council and NZSTA Regions, and provides services to member boards of trustees. CEC communicates with the School Trustees Association and has a promotional stand at their conference each year.
