Becoming a State School Chaplain
Thinking about getting involved in State School Chaplaincy?
We are looking for people who have a heart for the hurting and needy and have skills to befriend in a sensitive manner. They will be people who lovw to encourage and support others in the ups and downs of life.
Chaplaincy is a wonderful opportunity for people from a wide variety of backgrounds and ages to reach our increasingly diverse community.
The commitment to a school as a chaplain is usually 4 hours per week. They offer pastoral care and support for the whole school and community.
For information on training to become a state school chaplain please have a look at the CARE course page or contact your local Regional Advisor. We also have more information available HERE
