DARE to be you

DARE to be You is about making a difference to the lives of people in our community. It challenges children, parents and the community to make choices in life, and takes a fresh approach to dealing with the issues New Zealanders face today. Centred around an exciting story by Mandy Hager called “Run for the Trees”. Participants read a chapter and then use discussion and follow up activities to draw on one of the programme’s 5 themes. These are: Family Issues, Self Esteem, Disabilities, Celebrating Diversity and Conservation. www.dare.org.nz
