CHURTON PARK SCHOOL
As a way to demonstrate and build a relationship of care and support, CPAC (Churton Park Anglican Church) bought two large silver trophys as a gift for Churton Park School.  This was to support and encourage the school's values-driven curriculum, as well as reinforcing the focus on teaching and modelling good values through the CRE programme being taught at the school.
The cups, known as "Citizenship Cups", highlight to the students the importance of practising good values.  They were awarded for the first time at the end of Term 2, 2009, to two students who were applauded for the way they consistently displayed values such as respect and kindness to others,  their enthusiastic participation in all school activities, their humility and their respect of  the school code of conduct.
This idea has been an excellent way for the local church and school to build a closer  rapport using CRE as the catalyst, as well as emphasise the importance of teaching the values-driven CRE curriculum together with the national schools’ curriculum.

FERNLEA SCHOOL
Wainuiomata Gospel Chapel also has donated two cups to Fernlea School.  These cups are called “High Five” cups and are presented to junior and senior students each term who have best demonstrated in practice, the school values.
