Several schools in Taranaki are waiting for a school chaplain to replace someone that has had to move on. We need to fill these gaps and continue to be the listening ear and the light of Christ in our school communities.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

We are looking for men and women who have integrity, are good listeners and able to connect well with children and adults.  These are voluntary positions, one morning a week. Training is given and a great support network is available.

Taranaki's February newsletter

Greeting to all you wonderful people and welcome to 2010—a great year for CEC and for you I pray ! We had our first commissioning morning teas and a lunch recently and it was great to meet and spend a short time with chaplains and CRE teachers, pastors, the committee and support people, sharing and praying together as a start to the new year. Thank you to all who attended, it was wonderful to see you.

I have had no calls to say any teams are short of teachers so we are all set to go ! Some of you will start in term 2, so enjoy the break !

We still would like some more teachers to ease the load of those doing two or more schools, so ask for a helper—and watch them gain enough confidence to train and teach !
