Greater Waikato Training Day February 2010
About 25 CRE Team Leaders gathered from Hamilton and the central Waikato near the end of February to a meeting organised by our Advisor Warren and others. We had the South Auckland Advisor, Dianne Scarrow give a keynote talk, illustrated by a power point presentation. Perhaps the most interesting part was her presentation on the four main types of leaders; playful, precise, powerful and peaceful. She made the point that if we harness the particular leadership style that fits each of us and delegate the leadership parts that we are weak in, then we will be the most effective Team Leaders we can be. Following her talk we divided into small groups according to our sub regions and prayed. At the end of the evening we had a tasty supper. Our far flung region has about 80 Team Leaders, some living more than three hours travel from Hamilton. By Rod Bent |
